Spring in the South

Home again, home again...jiggity jig. As always our visit back home to see family and friends was priceless and heartwarming. It's a time when all of us can celebrate the gift of sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends.

Tate and I even got to spend a few days at Susu and Papa's and it was as if time stood still while we got lost in the wonderful world of blooming dogwood trees, childhood memories, chicken salad and fried green tomatoes. Our time there is never long enough but maybe we can visit again this summer for a dip in their pool!

Cousins!! One of our favorite things is seeing all the cousins back together again and thus allows many many photo opportunities. This is the best one I had of all three although Mac is busy smiling at Tate and Alice is sitting tall while the two boys are slouching a bit!

Hmm...this looks like just the beginning of two little boys getting into a lot of mischief together.

Susu helped pick out Tate's first pair of sandals!

Tate and I were thrilled when daddy was able to fly in for the weekend and enjoy some great time with Em, Monty, Mac & Alice who graciously open up their home to us.

Our trip of course would not be complete without quality time with Papa Peace!

...and last but not least, we were able to get all dolled up for an adult evening out at a close family friend's wedding. What a treat!!

Thank you again Susu, Papa, Aunt Em, Uncle Monty, Mac, Alice, Papa Peace and Shawna! We love you all so much and cannot wait for more adventures together soon.
